The Saddlery
Wrexham
Photo: Google Maps
Wrexham sits within reach of some striking Welsh countryside, and the converted coach house known as The Saddlery makes a straightforward base for exploring it. The property occupies its own leafy driveway with sightlines across open farmland, and stretches across two floors with a double bedroom upstairs, a living and dining space on the ground floor, and a conservatory. A single bathroom serves the whole place. The garden includes a pergola, seating and a barbecue, with an orchard beyond, while a woodburner in the living room takes the chill off cooler evenings.
Cooking happens on an electric range with full support from a microwave and dishwasher. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided; heating and hot water run on a slot meter after an initial allowance. A shared laundry room with a washing machine is available, and you have your own parking on site. The nearest pub sits about a mile away, as do a leisure centre and shops. Llangollen, six miles off, has a steam railway and horse-drawn boats on the River Dee, while Erddig Hall and Chirk Castle are within four miles. The property does not accommodate children and is non-smoking.
