Morning Mist

Morning Mist is a shepherd's hut built with character and set on a working farm at the edge of Strensall Common. The single open-plan space contains a living area with a woodburner, a small kitchen with electric hob and combi oven, and a king-size bed positioned to frame countryside views from where you wake. The shower room is housed in its own compact structure just outside. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wood for the burner are included; there's also a welcome pack on arrival.

The real draw is the wood-fired hot tub in the enclosed garden, plus a patio with furniture and barbecue. On-site parking is available for one car, and there's bike storage should you want to explore by pedal. The location puts you eight miles from York city centre and within reach of the North York Moors, yet far enough out that the fields stretch around you. This is a two-person property with no smoking inside. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.
