**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Weekend in York – Highly Recommended!** My 15-year-old daughter and I just stayed at Ashbourne House for a weekend getaway, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the owner, Fiona, gave us such a warm, genuine welcome and incredibly surprised us with a room upgrade right on the spot! We were put in a super king room that was beautifully modern, spotless, and incredibly spacious. After a long day of walking around York, the super comfortable bed was exactly what we needed. The breakfast setup is absolutely brilliant. There were loads of different options to choose from (which is always a bonus when travelling with a teenager!), and the Full English was genuinely 5-star quality. Fiona truly goes above and beyond as a host; she could not have been any more helpful or accommodating throughout our entire stay. If you're looking for a welcoming, comfortable, and flawlessly run guesthouse in York, this is the place to book. We will definitely be back!

Very well presented house, we were met by Fiona who is very nice. The room was spotless with everything you needed. Comfy bed too. We didn't try the Breakfast which is charged extra, but it did smell very nice. It is a 15-20 minute walk into the centre of town, but you can walk by the river which is really nice. I would definitely recommend a stay.

We would highly recommend Ashbourne House where we have stayed several times over the past few years, visiting twice a year, also with friends and most recently with our two adult daughters just last week. Its like home from home. Fiona and Ricardo are lovely hosts who are so welcoming and helpful. The bedrooms are lovely and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is excellent with so much choice and my husband always enjoys his gluten free cooked breakfast. We also enjoy the lovely riverside walk into York city centre and free car parking at Ashbourne House. Jayne and Steve

We had a lovely stay here. Our room was great and very well appointed, a very comfortable bed and lots of really nice touches. Fiona was a very welcoming host and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. The location was good on a bus route or short drive into town. I highly recommend Ashbourne House for a stay in York.
