Recent stay. The hosts Geoff & Ash were amazing, we arrived later than check in. They were incredibly accommodating even offered refreshments on arrival. The bedroom was cosy & we had the best nights sleep we have ever had in a hotel. For the price & location this is the place to stay in York. We will be back. .

We loved our stay at Holly Lodge! Geoff was super accomodating with us arriving after 8pm. The room was super large and beautiful. The bed was comfortable, the heaters were ideal. The location was perfect, close to cafes and the bus into town for when we did not want to walk. There was parking on site which was a bonus. Highly recommend and we will definitely come back when we return to York!

After a spur of the moment booking - we choose Holly Lodge and so glad we did. Beautiful building and room, was able to park the car there and everything was in walking distance or the bus stop was right outside. Geoff and his partner were very welcoming and communication was good. The price was great and would highly recommend!! We will definately be going back.

Absolutely lovely place to stay while visiting York. After arriving at a terrible place initially I had to desperately find somewhere else to stay. The Holly Lodge was the best choice I could have made. Comfy and clean rooms that I always felt happy coming back to at the end of the day. Additionally the owner is a very friendly man who looks after his guests. It all honestly turned my trip to York into a holiday I will always remember fondly. If I return, I will 100% try and book a room here again.
