About Bimini Guest House

Bimini Guest House occupies a traditional granite townhouse on Bon Accord Street, within an easy walk of Union Street and the railway station, and has built a loyal following of repeat visitors on the strength of its friendly, family-run service. The house retains many original Victorian features alongside comfortably updated bedrooms.

Rooms are individually decorated rather than uniform, with a mix of en-suite and shared bathroom options, and a cooked breakfast is served each morning in the small dining room, using local produce where possible. The owners are generally on hand with recommendations for restaurants and things to do, a point of difference from larger chain hotels nearby.

Its central but quieter side-street position makes it a good option for visitors wanting the convenience of a city centre location without the noise of Union Street itself, and it suits couples and solo travellers looking for a more personal stay.

Very comfortable and welcoming but may be a little “old” feeling for some. Perfect for our large family but multiple floors, tight turns, and a listing initially showed a hot tub (later removed.)

Great location close to Aberdeen centre and the beach. Lovely bedrooms rooms all with en suites. Living and dining areas can anccommodate large groups really well and kitchen well fitted out. Wonderful place for our family gathering.

Stayed over Hogmanay and New Year with family home from Australia. Had a great time in a welcoming and comfortable accommodation. Family enjoyed going for morning walks along the beach promenade which was only five minutes away. Also city centre just a ten minute walk.We were self catering and the kitchen was modern with all utensils necessary for preparing substantial meals. We had a memorable time meeting up with friends and family in very comfortable surroundings and made very welcome by Colin and his staff

A great value option between the beach and city centre. I think it used to be an old style bed and breakfast and is now an Airbnb. The lounge/ dining room is perfect for spreading out in. The kitchen is well equipped but we only made cups of tea as the great Cafe Ahoy is nearby. Don't expect the Ritz and you won't be disappointed.
