About Brentwood Villa Bed and Breakfast
King Street in Aberdeen sets the scene for Brentwood Villa Bed and Breakfast, a simple stone-built property within reach of the city's parks and open ground, including Hazelhead Park and its Pets Corner. It's a straightforward, no-frills base for anyone wanting to explore the surrounding countryside and coast without fuss.
Rooms here are plain and unpretentious, with drinks provided and free WiFi throughout. The dining room is a particular bright spot, a pleasant setting for the breakfast included in your stay. Reception is staffed around the clock, and free on-site parking makes arriving by car easy.
Outside, there's plenty to fill the day: golf and fishing are both close by, along with watersports for the more active, and walking areas for a slower pace. In the evenings, nearby pubs, bars and restaurants offer places to eat and unwind. Pets are welcome, so the whole family can come along.
What guests say
I stayed at Brentwood Villa Bed and Breakfast in Aberdeen for two nights in June 2026 and the experience certainly added texture to my trip. I booked because the website promised free roadside parking, ideal for leaving the car and exploring Aberdeen on foot. What I didn’t realise was that this “free parking” turns into permit‑only Monday to Friday, 10:00–16:00 — which was wonderfully timed with my Monday–Wednesday stay. The owner said he owned a flat nearby and that I could use the visitor parking there. I have no way of verifying that, of course, but it was presented as the solution. From Sunday onwards, I received a steady stream of messages asking for my exact arrival time, as though I were coordinating a precision landing rather than checking into a B&B. I’m used to a normal check‑in window, not a countdown sequence. Being repeatedly pinged while on holiday was not exactly the restful start I had planned. Upon arrival, I discovered the B&B is currently for sale — and prospective buyers were touring the property shortly after I checked in. I was even asked to let them into the room I was staying in. Nothing says “relax and unwind” like hosting a viewing of your own temporary bedroom. The room itself was the smallest of my entire trip, the breakfast was forgettable, and the coffee situation involved instant granules and full self‑assembly. Even the toilet roll was on a minimalist rationing scheme. In short: Brentwood Villa offered plenty of surprises, just not the pleasant kind. With the property up for sale, here’s hoping the next owners bring the calm, clarity, and hospitality the place could genuinely shine with. Future guests — and Aberdeen — deserve better.

Right opposite to the University of Aberdeen, this is the best value and the most hospitable stay I've been at in the UK. I had an accident and needed a place to rest and recover urgently in Aberdeen. Steven was so kind as to accommodate me even at midnight, fed me and took good care of me throughout my stay. Highly recommend!! P.S the breakfast cheese omelette is amazing

Perfect location if you come for the university. Very, very friendly host and I enjoyed a lot chatting with Steven. I had a single room which is small, and had to move chairs around to use the desk in an awkward position. Next to a busy street with poor sound proofing. Decor very tired. Reasonable value for money.

Delicious & filling breakfasts (I highly recommend the cheese omelette!). Rooms comfortable & clean, especially recommend for those who like a firm mattress. Conveniently close for visiting at the University of Aberdeen, & a pleasant half-hour walk to downtown (or a quick bus ride).
