About Jewel Guest House

Jewel Guest House occupies a traditional granite terrace property on Crown Street, a short stretch from the centre of Aberdeen. It's an adults-only guest house, which gives it a quieter, more settled atmosphere than a typical city hotel, and the building retains a homely, personal feel rather than a corporate one.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks provided, and breakfast is included to set guests up for the day. There's free WiFi throughout, a garden and outdoor seating area for warmer afternoons, and reception is staffed around the clock. Walking areas nearby make it easy to stretch your legs without heading far from the door.

The location suits those who want to explore beyond the immediate city streets: Hazelhead Park and its Pets Corner are within reach, and golf, fishing and watersports can all be found nearby, alongside pubs, restaurants and other entertainment. It's a practical base for a varied few days in and around Aberdeen.

Review for Jewel Guest House, Aberdeen I recently stayed at the Jewel Guest House in Aberdeen and found it to be decent for the price paid £36. The room was basic but generally clean. However, there were a couple of issues that made the stay less comfortable. Firstly, there was no heating, which made the room quite cold. I attempted to find someone to ask about it, but there was no staff available at the time. Additionally, the toilet seat was broken, which was an inconvenience. That being said, for the budget price, the accommodation was acceptable. It’s suitable for a short stay if you’re just looking for a place to rest. With a few improvements in maintenance and guest support, it could be a much better experience. What would you expect for that price for on that point of view it is a 5/5 owners also have the Indian across the road and the food is really good!

Misleading from the outside but very clean and smart inside. The rooms are associated with the Jewel In The Crown restaurant across the road. Trying to check in early was a mistake (we had made some sort of arrangement, but it was flawed and we had to hang around til nearer the official check in time of 4pm). Once in, the service and attention was excellent. Fittings apparently very new. Shower was extremely stiff to operate. Good value for a city centre hotel - although it IS a wee walk from most amenities.

Lovely Guest House, the manager was very friendly and welcoming. Clean rooms very well kept and cosy. Beds were comfortable too. Nice and quiet location and near to the city centre, bus and rail stations.

Clean, spacious room. Quiet. Room could do with a bedside lamp. But otherwise very good value for money
