About Sandman Signature Aberdeen Hotel
Aberdeen's centre is where you'll find the Sandman Signature Aberdeen Hotel, tucked on St. Andrew Street within easy reach of the city's main attractions and transport links. It's a practical base for exploring, with shops, pubs and restaurants all nearby, and walking routes for those who'd rather see the city on foot.
Rooms here are generously sized, and a number come with kitchenettes and microwaves, useful for longer stays or anyone who prefers to self-cater now and then. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and drinks facilities, with family and accessible rooms also available. That said, upkeep isn't always consistent, so it's worth bearing in mind that not every room will feel freshly finished. The breakfast buffet is a strong point and one guests return to often.
Beyond the rooms, the hotel has a restaurant and bar on-site, a gym, spa and sauna, plus meeting rooms and business services for those travelling on business. Room service and laundry service are available, and pets are welcome. On-site parking is chargeable. Nearby, there's golf, fishing and watersports for those wanting to get outdoors, alongside the city's own entertainment and dining options.

What guests say
I’d heard good things about this hotel but after a four night stay have to say that, for the price, it felt rather average. The lobby is an impressive space but the room itself was rather small and cramped and could do with some attention. The decor was fun but the door of the wardrobe appeared to be missing and the fridge was empty. There was a microwave though which was surprising for such a small room. There’s good heating but no air-conditioning. The shower was very spacious and the exposed brickwork unique, but storage space around the sink was limited. The toiletries were nice though and in good dispensers. The bar and restaurant on the ground floor is a nice space and not too expensive given the vibe. Overall its a smart hotel and I’d consider again if the price was right but the entry level room was just a bit too cramped to be super comfortable.

Excellent hotel with an excellent restaurant. We loved everything in here. Rooms are super comfy. It is an old building, converted into an hotel. It is quite pleasant to feel it. We had the most delicious steaks in the restaurant. Elena was great, our waiter 🙏🏼❤️

The location of the hotel is very convenient and employees were nice as well. The beds were gigantic, room had an okay amount of space, as did the bathroom. Free WiFi, television. There was a microwave, iron, hairdryer, fridge which was nice. You get free cookies, tea, coffee which was quite nice as well. The bedding was clean, chairs seemed to have some small permanent stains though. Drawers’ handles had quite a lot of dust on them. Showers were fine, however, we found a sow bug. Breakfast was good, mostly. The juice was undrinkable as it was crazy sweet and the bacon was tough and very salty. There was a nice selection of bread and tasty mini muffins. The lobby is extremely beautiful.

Booked here for convenience of location and it did the job. I couldn't imagine looking to stay any longer. Checking in was good and the young lady was so nice. It's 12 pounds to park your car in the hotel car park which is small or the overflow across the road. It's a big place with do many ways up to the rooms and corridors, quite confusing really. The room was good and actually a good sleep. My biggest issue was the breakfast. It was horrendous. I've never in my life walked away from a fry with much left on the plate but everything was disgusting. I settled for a banana and a cup of tea. Not great.
