About Skene House HotelSuites - Holburn
Skene House HotelSuites - Holburn occupies a substantial townhouse-style building on Union Grove, purpose-built around suite-style living rather than standard hotel rooms, and it houses 39 of them across the property. The scale is compact enough to feel personal but large enough to offer a proper range of facilities, from a restaurant and bar to a gym and spa/sauna on-site, plus meeting rooms for those travelling on business.
Rooms come as suites rather than boxy doubles, with air conditioning, drinks provided in-room, and the practical extras that make a longer stay easier, including free WiFi, laundry service and porter and concierge support. Breakfast is served on-site, and there's a garden for guests who want a bit of outdoor space without leaving the grounds. Free on-site parking is available, which is a genuine plus in this part of Aberdeen.
The Holburn area gives easy access to Hazelhead Park and its Pets Corner, a good option for anyone travelling with family, and pets themselves are welcome at the hotel. Pubs, bars and restaurants nearby fill out the evening options, while the wedding venue facilities and valet parking make it a workable base for events as well as everyday stays.
