About The Aberdour Hotel

The Aberdour Hotel occupies a former 17th-century coaching inn on the High Street in the centre of Aberdour, on the north shore of the Firth of Forth, and is the only hotel within the village itself. Friendly and family-run, it has been tastefully converted into a 16-bedroom property, with a mix of single, double, twin, family and superior rooms, the last three set in a separate Stable Block.

All rooms are ensuite with tea and coffee facilities and digital television, and most have free Wi-Fi. The hotel runs a full bar and restaurant looking onto the High Street, serving traditional pub food alongside real ales, using fish landed at Pittenweem and produce sourced from Fife butchers and growers, plus a cosy lounge bar with an open fire.

Its location puts guests within a few minutes' walk of Aberdour's harbour, station, castle and both beaches, making it the most straightforward car-free base for a village-centre stay, with Edinburgh around 35 minutes away by car or train and Edinburgh Airport around 25 minutes by road.
