About Aberdour Hotel Stables Rooms & Beer Garden
Burntisland sits on the Fife coast, a small town with easy access to countryside and shoreline, and on its High Street you'll find the Aberdour Hotel Stables Rooms & Beer Garden. The hotel pairs straightforward accommodation with a restaurant and bar known for generous, traditional cooking, including haggis, neeps and tatties made with local produce, served in a relaxed, unpretentious setting.
Rooms include family and en-suite options, with accessible rooms also available, and staff are on hand around the clock. That said, upkeep in some rooms has been flagged as inconsistent, so it's worth setting expectations accordingly rather than expecting anything smart. Breakfast and packed lunches are provided, and drinks can be brought to your room, while the beer garden and outdoor seating offer a spot to sit outside when the weather allows.
Free parking is available on site, and pets are welcome. Beyond the hotel, the area suits golf, fishing and watersports, with pubs, restaurants and entertainment nearby for those who fancy exploring the town after dinner.

We were blown away with the service we received during our stay at the Aberdour!! We got in late after a day of travel and we were starving. The restaurant on site was closed for the night but they went above and beyond for us! They made us some food and let us eat in the restaurant so we were comfortable. After a great night in our clean and spacious rooms, we had an excellent breakfast with great service from the morning crew. They gave us tips on places to check out and were so kind!!! The parking at the hotel is limited but with the direction of the staff, we parked down the street at the rail station. It was a short walk in this sweet little town!

I can’t comment about rooms, only the bar & restaurant which are excellent. My wife & I had a Madras curry & fish pie - both were absolutely delicious. We’ve had them before & always high standard. Great selection of draught beers & wines. Staff very friendly & helpful.

A very unassuming spot for fantastic food. The menu is small which is great as what they offer is done to a very high standard. Without a doubt the best haggis, neeps and tatties I have had. The whisky sauce was amazing. I also tried some of the ratatouille which was really high quality as well. I highly recommend the restaurant for a great meal. Very high standard of scran. I wish more places offered such a great traditional Scots dinner.

Arrived late in this beautiful town, walked into what looks like the only place that does food for dinner , to be completely shot down for food in an empty pub/ restaurant. Could have offered us a table after an early party has left, equally offered us a quick table before a late party arrived. The girl in front of house was so so rude, didn't even want to accommodate us for a quick drink at the bar, the bar staff where none the friendlier and the courtyard was vile - felt totally unwelcome and a horrid start to our stay.

Diners like this hotel's delicious and high-quality food, including traditional Scots dishes like haggis, neeps, and tatties, as well as fresh local produce. They also highlight the friendly and helpful staff, cozy atmosphere, and good value.
Some reviews mention the rooms can be poorly maintained.
