What visitors say
Had a great time at Tenpin Acton! The lanes are well-maintained, and the atmosphere is lively. Friendly staff and good food options and Halal too. However the bowling balls could do with an upgrade—some are quite worn. A little refresh would make it perfect! Still, highly recommend for a fun night out with the family and friends. 🎳👍

I came here simply to enjoy a game of bowling with my young child and the lady who was with me. I was only expecting a small moment of happiness. When it was finally my turn, I realized that our bowling lane was not working. I politely approached the lady at the counter and respectfully explained the issue. Instead of receiving assistance, I was met with an extremely rude, insulting, and humiliating attitude. Naturally, I was upset and asked to speak with the manager of that department. I believe that was my right as a customer. What shocked me even more was that the manager’s behavior was significantly worse than that of the employee. They called security and asked them to remove me from the premises. I explained to the security officer that I simply wanted to raise my complaint and that I had every right to do so. My request was very simple: I only wanted the problem to be resolved. However, in front of my child and my partner, I was treated in a shocking manner and forcibly removed from the venue. What was even more astonishing was that, at that very moment, the employees involved laughed at me in a mocking and disrespectful way. I am a respectable man with extensive management experience. Throughout my professional and personal life, I have always tried to help others and treat people with dignity and respect. I do not believe I deserved to be publicly humiliated for no valid reason. I attempted to file a formal complaint and was told that the matter would be investigated within one week. After waiting patiently, expecting to discuss the issue with management, I was instead contacted by a member of the security team. Not only was the tone of that call disrespectful, but I also felt threatened during the conversation. I submitted another complaint and was promised a response within 14 days. It has now been almost two months, and not a single person from the management team has contacted me to apologize or address what happened. I believe I am fully entitled to pursue this matter through legal channels. To anyone considering visiting this venue: you have the right to enjoy yourself. You have the right to have fun. But please remember that you also have the right to be treated with dignity and respect. I am determined to continue pursuing this matter through the appropriate legal processes. I sincerely hope that meaningful changes are made, whether through improvements in management or accountability for those responsible. Most importantly, I hope this place becomes one where all people—children, women, men, and individuals of every background, race, and ethnicity—are treated with the respect and value they deserve.
