About Travelodge London Park Royal
A bar and café on site give Travelodge London Park Royal a straightforward base for a bite or a drink without leaving the building, and breakfast is available for those who want to start the day sorted before heading out. It's a simple, no-frills setup rather than a dining destination, but it does the job for an overnight stop.
The hotel has 198 rooms across five floors, with lifts for access and accessible rooms available. Many rooms come with king-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms, and there are drinks available in room too. Some rooms show their age and can be affected by noise from nearby train tracks, so light sleepers might want to bear that in mind. Staff are on hand around the clock at 24 hour reception, and pets are welcome.
Set on the A40 Western Avenue close to Park Royal Station, the location suits anyone travelling into or out of London by road or rail. There's chargeable on-site parking by pay and display, a Burger King nearby for a quick meal, and further pubs, bars and restaurants within easy reach for evenings out.

What guests say
Travelodge London Park Royal very disappointing and unacceptable experience. I checked in expecting a basic but clean room. Unfortunately, the room I was given was in a condition that I would describe as unhygienic, and I ended up leaving almost immediately because I didn’t feel safe or comfortable staying there. The first issue was the bedding. When I pulled back the covers and properly looked, the sheets were not clean there were visible hairs and dust, which instantly made me question whether the bed had been changed or cleaned properly. That alone is bad enough, but it got worse. The bathroom was also in a shocking state. There was mould in the bathroom (not just a small patch — it looked like it had been there for a while), and the overall feeling was damp and dirty. I took photos because I couldn’t believe the condition of it and wanted evidence of what I walked into. Another thing that really stood out was the smell in the room. When I first entered it actually smelled “fresh,” but within about 30 minutes it became overwhelming and unpleasant, like the room had been heavily sprayed with air freshener right before I arrived. It felt like it was being used to cover up an underlying odour rather than the room genuinely being clean. It reached a point where it was hard to stay in the room at all. The final and most serious issue was what made me leave immediately I lifted the sheets and checked the mattress (because I already didn’t trust the cleanliness at that point) and I saw a live bed bug. Finding a live bed bug in the bed is beyond unacceptable it’s a major hygiene issue and something that can follow you home, ruin your belongings, and cause bites and stress. The moment I saw that, I left straight away. This wasn’t a minor inconvenience or a “rooms can be tired” situation it was a basic cleanliness and safety failure. I’ve stayed in budget hotels before and I don’t expect luxury, but I do expect clean bedding, a mould-free bathroom, and absolutely no bed bugs. Because of this experience, I am requesting a full refund, including one day of parking, and compensation for the inconvenience and disruption, as I had to leave and make other arrangements due to the condition of the room. I would not recommend staying here based on my experience.

Very nice clean hotel. Very good location on the A40. Easy to get into Central London, Ealing and Wembley. Clean rooms and excellent customer service.

Sweltering rooms, can't be helped due to the weather but air con or even a competent fan would have been good. Receptionist (when they were available, there was a closed sign for 90 percent of the visit) seemed clueless and passive aggressive. Random detritus hanging off the shabby ceilings in the hallways. It's in a good location next to an M&S for food.

We stayed here for 4 nights during the Easter holidays with the kids, brilliant find! We loved being so close to the tube stations, a 5 min walk to Park Royal on the Piccadilly line or 15/20 min walk to Hanger Lane tube station on the Central line. Lovely and quiet room at the back of the hotel - the boys loved watching the trains go past! Great retail park opposite with several places to eat which was really handy. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
