Florattica Rooftop London

I went here for brunch for my birthday and had such a lovely experience from start to finish. We were welcomed with a cocktail shot on arrival, which immediately set the tone for a fun and celebratory afternoon. We had the set menu, which offered plenty of delicious options, and all of the food was served quickly and tasted amazing. The cocktails were incredible, and alongside a lovely bottle of wine and prosecco, it felt like the perfect way to celebrate. What really stood out was the service. Every member of staff made us feel genuinely looked after throughout our visit. I especially wish I’d asked for our waitress’s name because she was so warm and friendly and really made the whole experience even better. We went on a Sunday and had the first booking slot after opening, so the atmosphere was calm, quiet, and relaxed, which we really enjoyed. The decor is gorgeous, and the views across London are such a lovely touch that make the experience feel extra special. Being right by Aldgate station also made it incredibly convenient to get to.

The music was quite loud, making conversation difficult. There was no DJ on Sunday—which is fine—but the playlist consisted of just five popular songs on a loop; we sat there for three hours and heard every song multiple times. Please expand your playlist. The staff was pleasant. When we asked to move from the indoor area to the terrace, they quickly found us a table, though our unfinished cheese platter vanished into thin air during the move. It was also uncomfortably cold inside, making it unpleasant to sit there. I didn't like being forbidden from lighting candles on my birthday cake. I understand that lighting them indoors is dangerous due to the ceiling décor, and I had been warned via email about restrictions on balloons and sparklers. However, I don't think anything bad would have happened if we’d lit a single candle out on the terrace. Also, one of the waiters seemed unable to count; when clearing and replacing our cutlery, we were repeatedly missing either a knife or a fork for our party of six. All of this brings my final rating to 3.5. I would visit again—the view is incredible, the cocktails are tasty, and the food is decent—but you definitely need to address the issues mentioned above.

Such an amazing bar! It is super beautiful and all the finishes are gorgeous! Its not pretentious or unwelcoming in ANY way which you might expect because of that aesthetic, (which you may have experienced elsewhere) I promise. We were greeted by the host on the ground floor and then promptly greeted once we were out of the lift and offered either a bar table with a view by the window or a lower table further in. We went for the bar table to make the most of the view. We really enjoyed the whole feel of the place - the atmosphere, views, and service at Florattica! Luke our server was excellent, he was there when we needed him and happy to chat us through our options when we asked for his advice. The drink options were plenty and the ones we tried were all delicious, there wasn't one of them we didn't like and they certainly were not watered down (again like some places), we both left feeling a bit tiddly and it was lovely! We had a great time and would love to experience it in the sunshine, and on the terrace when the weather is more guaranteed! (We only went for cocktails so cannot rate the food).

We had a lovely time at Floratica. The atmosphere was really good. Excellent DJ, great views and really nice decor. All the cocktails we ordered were really nice and the service we received from Andreya was excellent. She was very attentive and super friendly. Would really recommend. A real gem of a rooftop bar.
