Booked Sunday lunch today for 1.30pm. Very vague service to start with even though I had booked, ordered a drink then waited 20 minutes with no further attention. Very poor service and would definitely NOT recommend. Poor show.

Went for a birthday celebration afternoon tea Food was brilliant .. plenty tea and coffee refills .. our waitress Ella was fabulous.. very attentive and super efficient.. highly recommend 🤩

My husband and I spent a week at the hotel while visiting family in Alford. The hotel is central and in walking distance of pretty much everything in town, the staff, especially Andrea was very welcoming, we had good hearty breakfasts included, and it was all quite reasonable. The bed was comfortable, and the room was well appointed, and they were more than accommodating! The restaurant and bar are good. The only thing I would warn, is that because the bar is a very popular spot on weekends, Friday and Saturday nights it can be a bit noisy until 11 or 12.
