Scardroy Alford is a spacious ground-floor bungalow that comes ready for a group to move in and cook properly. The kitchen has electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and coffee machine. There are two living rooms, each with Freeview TV, a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a separate dining room. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, so you arrive to a functioning home rather than a list of things to set up.

Seven bedrooms and three bathrooms serve twelve guests. The principal bedroom has a king bed and an ensuite with corner spa bath; the others are a mix of doubles and singles, some configured flexibly for different group sizes. Walk-in showers and a bath with shower attachment cover the remaining bathrooms. On-site parking accommodates six cars. The enclosed grounds have a patio and garden furniture; a hot tub for four and a barbecue house are available to use at additional cost. No smoking throughout. Alford itself has shops and restaurants; Brainley Croft House lies nearby. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
