Outstanding B&B and experience. Location is excellent. Amanda is a wonderful host. Breakfast was delicious. Amanda very kindly offered us a nutrition session - she is a specialist in nutrition. And she provided guidance on walks and places to go. All round a fantastic experience - and the sun shone!

We have had a lovely holiday/honeymoon at this idyllic little cottage in Ambleside. The hosts Amanda and Mark were absolutely lovely and very welcoming. Upon our arrival Amanda congratulated us on our marriage and thanked for choosing there B&B to celebrate and after being here couldn't choose anywhere better. The breakfast was brilliant and the fact I being gluten avoidance could enjoy a fried breakfast and even some toast was lovely. They went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed including extra towels and advice on great Gluten-free places to eat and places to visit like the steam train experience just a short ferry ride away. The room itself is beautiful and bright, spacious but cozy at night too. The view from the balcony is beautiful and quite peaceful. It is perfectly situated just a 5 minute walk from all the local shops and if thats not a enough then you can get a scenic bus trip from right outside to any local areas from grassmere to bowness to keswick. Also the grassmere bus is an opentop bus which creates a very scenic journey. Overall we would definitely recommend this as a place to stay whether it and short trip or long stay.

We had the privilege of stopping at Haven Cottage 30th June for two nights for my birthday weekend. Mark & Amanda are wonderful hosts and we had a great stay. The breakfast was amazing, and nothing was too much trouble. Hassle free with car parking on site, along with an electric charging point. It's perfectly situated. Our room was very comfortable, clean with luxury toiletries, towels & bathrobes supplied. Our experience was fantastic from start to finish, we would highly recommend and hope to return one day.
