Glen Doll Lodge
Angus
Glen Doll Lodge is a substantial stone building set within a working farm in the heart of the Angus Glens. The lodge sleeps 16 across eight bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and operates as an exclusive rental—your group has the whole place to itself. Two sitting rooms with woodburners, a games room with pool table and console, and a fully equipped kitchen with Aga and modern appliances give everyone space to spread out. Parking for seven cars is on site.
What makes this location exceptional is the access it offers. The property sits within reach of the region's most celebrated outdoor pursuits: the Corrie Fee National Nature Reserve and Glen Doll Forest lie nearby, with well-marked walking routes passing close by. Munro bagging, mountain biking, horse riding, and cross-country skiing are all feasible from here, while the North and South Esk rivers draw salmon fishers. The glens support significant wildlife—birdwatchers, photographers and botanists find plenty to occupy them in this unspoilt landscape.
Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included, along with initial fuel for the woodburners. The grounds have garden furniture and a sitting-out area. No smoking throughout. The property suits families and groups of friends rather than celebration parties.
