About Eden Heights Glamping
Tucked into the Eden Valley between the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District and North Pennines, Eden Heights Glamping offers a particularly peaceful escape amid spectacular Cumbrian scenery. This tiny site sits about 10 minutes south of Appleby-in-Westmorland, with just a handful of well-appointed glamping pods that strike a lovely balance between remote tranquility and practical comfort.
Each spacious pod comes properly equipped with ensuite shower room, full kitchenette, kingsize bed (plus pull-out sofa for larger groups) and thoughtful extras like heated towel rails, USB points and Smart TVs with wifi. Outside, private patios with seating and barbecues make the most of those green valley views, and you can add a firepit or book the open-air hot tub for an extra charge. Double glazing and provided linens mean minimal packing and maximum cosiness.
It's an excellent base for walkers, cyclists and anyone after proper countryside calm, with mountain biking, golf and fishing all nearby. Dogs are welcome year-round, and while the remote setting delivers on peace and scenery, some might find the isolation a touch quiet if you're after more on-site bustle.

What visitors say
We absolutely love it here! Every wedding anniversary we spend Monday-Friday here and it’s always the most amazing time away. The pods are beautifully designed, everything you need is already there and the location is just perfection. We will continue to visit every year.

What an amazing place! Went for my birthday on the recommendation from another friend and it did not disappoint. Beautiful clean pods, came with clear instructions for the use of all equipment. Scenery is out of this world. Can’t fault communication from owners as forgot to book hot tub and was easily sorted. Loved it that much we are planning another weekend stay.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay! The pod was immaculate with everything that you could think of. The hot tub was amazing and super easy to use. The views were an added bonus! The only thing I would say, is that it's advertised as private but I wouldn't say it is. We stayed in EDEN pod which is the middle of the 3 and other guests have to walk past your pod to get to the end one. The pods are close together and definitely not private when in the hot tub. But other than that, it was amazing! Thanks for a lovely stay :)

Booking process: 10/10. The facilities and location were beautiful. Upon arrival, there's a notebook with detailed instructions — everything is very clearly explained. It's important to use the location link they send via email, as the postcode on its own isn't very accurate on GPS. Check-in was quick and very convenient. I stayed in the Alanna cabin, as I brought my dog. I was slightly worried, as pet-friendly places can sometimes be a bit hairy or smell of animals — but not at all! The cabin was spotless, looked great and smelled fresh. Absolutely 10/10. We used the hot tub and the BBQ, both in great condition. Firewood is provided, which was a nice touch. It has a stove, refrigerator, and all the necessary kitchen accessories, in good condition and clean. Excellent. The only things I think could be improved: The mattress really needs replacing — it dips in the middle like a ‘U’, and we ended up with a bit of back pain. The sofa bed wasn’t sturdy enough and collapsed under weight. That said, I’d still absolutely recommend it. We had a lovely weekend with stunning views in a beautiful setting I’d definitely go back
