I'd give it 10 stars if I could. A very last minute booking and a very late check-in on a foul February night. Respite in a time of real need, this is hospitality at its best. Fiona is a truly fabulous host.

We used the guest house as our base for a few nights. We were met on arrival and it was wonderful. Hosts are amazing, friendly and so informative! Nothing was too much bother. Room was lovely, bathroom and proper fresh milk to have in an ever topped up tea tray and biscuits. Breakfast had a wonderful selection and the cooked breakfast was wonderful produce and cooked beautifully Can not wait to stay again .

I only stayed for one night, but it was such a great experience. The hosts were an absolute delight—so warm and welcoming. The room was spotless and had everything I needed, and the bed was super comfortable, with a view of the castle too. Breakfast was lovely, a perfect start to the day. It’s just a five-minute walk from the station, and only a few minutes more into the town centre, which was really convenient. I’d absolutely stay here again without hesitation.
