I stayed in the Hobbit Hole Hut whilst walking the Pennine Way in April. The communication from the host was just amazing. I was given all the information I could needed in advance, including directions to the Hut. The hut itself was superb, very comfy and warm. I had been so excited to stay in the hut and it more than lived up to expectations. The shower/toilet blocks were very clean with hot showers. I requested a packet lunch for the next days walk which was delicious. Beautiful area, beautiful site and an absolutely amazing host.

Great quiet campsite, stayed here for a night. Ideal location for hiking to High Cup Nick. Showers and toilets are clean and tidy, electric hookups are close. Price is good - £25 a night. The only downside is they don’t have a drive-over grey water disposal.

Julie is an excellent host. I had to alter my booking. She was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this site.

We stayed in a hobbit hut whilst walking the Pennine Way - it was lovely! clean and comfy beds, lovely hot showers, and a very good pub a very short walk away. The kettle and porridge pots were wonderful too. The only issue was ventilation - would be great to be able to open a window. I can imagine its more of an issue when its warm or if you have a lot of wet kit.
