Cluaran Pods - Bracken Pod

Bracken Pod is a single-bedroom glamping pod sleeping two, positioned on the back road between Connel and Oban where Glen views open across the landscape. The whole place is yours alone: one open-plan living space with a kitchen equipped for self-catering, a dining area, lounge with Smart TV, a bedroom with a kingsize bed, and a shower room with underfloor heating. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are provided, along with a welcome pack and parking for one car on site. One dog can stay free, though sheep graze the area so yours must be kept on a lead.

The Falls of Lora—a tidal waterfall beneath Connel Bridge—is a couple of miles' walk away, and Beinn Lora rises just across the bridge with views out over Loch Linnhe. Oban itself, a short drive south, offers the distillery and McCaig's Tower for views over the bay and islands, plus boat trips to see seals and puffins. Restaurants, bars and summer ceilidh music centre on the town's harbourside. Port Appin, a fishing village with seafood restaurants, lies a few miles west. Castle Stalker sits in Appin Bay—recognisable from Monty Python—en route to Fort William, an hour away. No smoking inside the pod.
