Connel Ferry lies a short distance away, and the Glencoe Visitor Centre gives a reason to venture further afield. Closer to hand, Oban itself offers pubs, restaurants and entertainment, while fishing, cycling, walking and watersports are all within easy reach for guests wanting to fill the day before returning to the bayside setting in the evening.

We stayed two nights here while travelling for work. The owner was very helpful and friendly and worked around us for anything we needed. The rooms were decent and had great views over the harbour. We had an excellent breakfast here too. Would definitely recommend. Parking is located just across the road. Very convenient 👌

If I could give zero stars I would. Booked 2 nights through AirBnB 2 weeks ago for 2 nights at the end of May all paid up front. Received a very short message from the owner today cancelling the booking as they have double booked due to advertising on numerous platforms and they did not ‘sync’ their bookings. This ‘error’ would have been evident very quickly, but it took the owner 2 weeks to tell me, which was very unprofessional. It has left me without accommodation in the middle of my trip and excursions have been booked and paid for. Upon investigating this guest house on other platforms, they are still advertising for the dates I paid for. This leaves me to suspect they do this so they can continue to advertise at a higher cost and if someone else books they cancel the original booking, which is highly unethical. Fortunately, at least AirBnB have been marvellous and pulled out all the stops in sourcing an alternative and even gave me a 50% refund on my booking towards use against an alternative. So whilst the accommodation itself looks stunning the treatment from the owners has left a nasty taste in the mouth and I share my experience with others as a word of caution before booking with them. Edit - this review is in no way connected to another recent review, which I’ve just been made aware of. It seems another customer has had the exact same experience. It does however demonstrate the absolutely appalling, disgusting , unethical practices the owners seem keen to engage in on a regular basis. Make sure they do not take advantage of you - simply do not give them your money.

Great location near Oban with a few lovely walks. Helpful owner, Chris happy to give advice on what to do! If you're a light sleeper ask for a room at the back of the house as the front is exposed to traffic noise 24 hrs! Lovely breakfasts, comfy bed and pillows.
