Cluaran Pods - Heather Pod

Heather Pod is a compact glamping pod sleeping two, positioned on a working farm between Connel and Oban in Argyll. The single open-plan space contains a living area with Smart TV, a kitchenette with induction hob and combination microwave, and a dining table. A king-size bed and shower room complete the layout. Everything is on ground level, with underfloor heating and mains essentials covered—bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Outside, a patio with garden furniture overlooks the glen; private parking is on site. The property draws water from a natural spring.

For visitors, Oban is roughly three miles away: a harbour town with restaurants, distillery tours and summer ceilidh music. Connel village lies closer, where the Falls of Lora sit beneath the bridge. Local walking starts from the door—Beinn Lora and Glencoe are accessible, and the glen offers immediate countryside. Further afield, Fort William is an hour's drive; Castle Stalker sits in Appin Bay en route, and Port Appin has seafood restaurants. The Highlands' scale becomes apparent from here: boat trips operate from Oban to see wildlife, and McCaig's Tower offers views across the bay to the islands. Smoking is not permitted in the pod.
