Cruinn and Moy - Moy
Argyll and Bute

This corner of Argyll and Bute sits on a peninsula where the landscape shifts between working farmland, natural woodland and the Loch Sween shoreline. Moy occupies a wooded glade on the property, positioned to catch views across the loch towards Jura. The setting attracts wildlife—deer visible from windows, seals and otters along the water's edge, badgers and birds throughout the grounds. Sandy beaches and walking routes are close by, and the ruins of Castle Sween, Kilmartin Glen and the chapels at Kilmory and Keills lie within reach for those interested in archaeology.
The cottage is ground floor throughout: a living and dining room with a wood-burning stove and French doors opening onto a patio, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, two bedrooms (one kingsize, one with two singles) and a bathroom with shower over the bath. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. The patio has garden furniture and a barbecue, and there is private parking on site. A natural water supply serves the property, and an unfenced stream runs through the grounds. The cottage sleeps four and welcomes one pet.
Lochgilphead, 16 miles away, has shops, restaurants, a golf course and swimming pool. For meals with views, the seafood restaurants at Tayvallich and Crinan are closer options. The wider area offers opportunities to spot beavers in Knapdale Forest or visit Taynuish Nature Reserve. No smoking inside the property.
