Drum Lang Estate - Drum Lang Lodge
Argyll and Bute

Drum Lang Lodge is a substantial stone cottage built to the proportions of a grander era, part of an estate that slopes towards the River Ba and the Argyll coast. The building retains character throughout—separate sitting areas upstairs and down, a woodburner for cooler days, and windows that frame water views from the bedrooms. Three bedrooms sleep six: a double on the ground floor with shower room nearby, and upstairs a zip-and-link king with ensuite, plus a further king bedroom, also with its own ensuite. Between these is a second lounge, useful for games or quiet time away from the main living space.
The kitchen has everything needed to cook properly—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered; there's also a welcome pack and a travel cot and highchair if needed. One dog is welcome at no extra cost, though the estate is sheep country so dogs must stay on a lead. Three cars can park on site.
From March through November, you have fishing rights on approximately half a mile of the River Ba, which runs through the grounds 200 yards from the lodge. The estate is positioned where salmon enter from the sea, making it prime water for Atlantic salmon and sea trout, with brown trout throughout the season. The shared grounds include an unfenced river, and the natural water supply comes via a spring. No smoking inside the property.
