About Killiechronan Camping
Killiechronan Camping sits on the Isle of Mull in a location where white-tailed eagles and otters are regular sightings. It is a basic campground with showers on site and toilets and dishwashing facilities a short walk away, though that walk does run along a main road. Pitches offer views across the landscape, and the atmosphere is notably quiet and peaceful.

Absolutely amazing spot for white tailed eagle spotting, we've had a fab two night stay with plenty of sightings. Lovely walk around the loch spotting other birdlife and otters. There's pony trekking nearby too. No facilities onsite although there are loos available a short walk away at the farm. As long as you're self sufficient you'll be happy campers here. Only £7pppn.

Great little basic campsite in a stunning area of Mull. White tailed eagles nest overlooking the sea loch and they were visible for the whole two days I was there. At one point landing on the beach by the campsite. Also good for many other birds including whitethroat and curlew. The owner comes round each evening to collect pitches fees, cash only. Toilets and water just a five minute walk from the campsite.

Wonderful little campsite for me and my gang of monks to become one with nature. We arrived in the pouring rain and quickly struck a deal with the sites owner: if we paid him, he would let us stay. Some of the weaker monks objected as they do not belive in money, so we sent them west, presumably to drown. We begun cooking up a large pot of chicken fajitas, however a monk found some lamb which we gladly ate aswell. With our tummy's full we began getting our pyjamas on, however we found them utterly soaked. After a quick round of praying we found a full set of dry pyjamas in a neighbouring tent, enough for me and all 18 monks. Of course, before going to sleep, we had to brush our teeth, so we marched for around 5 minutes untill we reached wonderful facilities, truly they were beautiful. Unfortunatly we only had one toothbrush to go around so we had to share, but it wasn't so bad as Monk#15 brought some amazing toothpaste. Upon returning to the camp, we were ambushed by a derranged middle-aged man, who accused us of having stolen all 18 of his daughters pyjamas. I tried to explain that stealing is against Monk Code of Conduct (CoC) but he stepped out of line when he drove a tent peg through one of the monks necks. It was at this point me and the Monks knew we had to take him to 'Pain City' and quickly put him and his daughters (for fear of retalliation) in their places. After that we all got in our tent and went to sleep. Highly recommend, although we umfortunatly saw no otters

Absoluetly loved it here. Yes, you need to be able to cater for yourself and the toilet is a bit of a walk, but my god, the views are amazing. It's incredibly peaceful, clean and tidy and if you are looking for Scottish wildlife it's here in abundance literally on your doorstep.
