Loch Etive's north shore offers serious scope for outdoor activity. The water itself draws kayakers, small-boat owners and anglers; the narrow single-track road along it is quiet enough for cycling and walking. Ardshellach sits within reach. The wider Argyll region contains islands, mountains, coastal paths and lochs enough to fill weeks. Dundonald Landing - Palm 1 sits perfectly placed to use any of it as your base, with the loch itself essentially on the doorstep.

The lodge is a detached two-bedroom, two-bathroom property sleeping four, arranged entirely on the ground floor. One bedroom has a king bed, the other two singles; each has its own ensuite with walk-in shower. The open-plan living space centres on a gas woodburner and faces south over decked areas toward the water. A full kitchen—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, American fridge-freezer—sits within the same space. The front glazes entirely onto the decking, which holds outdoor furniture and a barbecue.

A private jetty and slipway run from the garden down to the loch, suitable for launching small trailable boats or keeping a kayak at hand. The hot tub sits in a rear garden area reached through stable doors. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. No smoking throughout. Two cars can park on the property.

A beautiful little a frame on the shores of loch etive, with a hot tub which if you're lucky can see harbour porpoise and otters, needs a little up dating but on the whole comfortable and warm, the owners were very friendly and attentive.

Had a perfect stay at Dundonald Landing in one of their wonderful cabins. What a great location. A quick stroll down the driveway, cross the quiet single track lane and you're on the shore of loch Etive with a private launch point. Perfect for our sea kayaking adventures. The weather was a bit blustery but we still got out on one of our favourite Scottish lochs. Our lovely hosts were on hand if we needed anything but other than that left us to enjoy our holiday. Can't recommend this enough - especially if you're keen sea kayakers. Oh and, after a tough day on the water battling the best of Scottish wild weather, the hot tub was very welcome!

Had a fantastic week at Dundonald Landing. The accommodation was spotless and very well equipped. The hot tub was fantastic for unwinding a the end of the day and the location is great for exploring. Loch Etive is absolutely stunning and i am sure we will be returning. Geoff and Lorna made us feel very welcome and the jetty is great if you have a boat or want to do some paddle boarding etc.

Excellent location right on the waters edge. Magnificent views across the loch. Very peaceful fully equipped cabin. The afternoon hot tub/spa were great. Must do. Short drive to Oban. Highly recommended.
