Tigh Grianach

Loch Etive stretches out in front of Tigh Grianach, with Ben Cruachan rising beyond and fields rolling westward where deer appear at first light. The cottage sits on the Argyll coast close enough to walk down to the water's edge for fishing, swimming or simply watching the light change across the loch. Oban, known for its seafood and working harbour, is a five-mile drive away; nearer still are a pub and restaurant within a mile.

The whole property is yours, arranged on a single storey with three bedrooms (sleeping six in total), two bathrooms, and a generous living space that opens through patio doors onto the garden. The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. You have heating, electricity, wifi and bed linen included. Parking for two cars is on site, and there is a garden with sitting-out area and barbecue. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Smoking is not permitted.

The lochside lies 200 yards from the cottage, and there are three steps in the garden. A cot and highchair can be arranged if needed. This is somewhere to base yourself for exploring Argyll, or simply to watch the water and wildlife from your own garden.
