Fasgadh Cottage
Argyll and Bute
Fasgadh Cottage is a three-bedroom semi-detached property sleeping six, with a bathroom for each bedroom. Everything unfolds on the ground floor: a living room with 50-inch smart TV opens onto the garden through patio doors, there's a separate dining room, and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking—electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. A utility room with washing machine and washer-dryer means you can manage laundry during your stay. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included.
Two of the bedrooms have a double bed each (4ft 6in); the third has two single beds (3ft). All three bedrooms have their own ensuite shower room. Outside, a lawned garden with decked seating and furniture looks towards the water and hills, and there's private parking for three cars. The cottage sits in working countryside near Port Appin, where a village shop, pub and restaurant are within half a mile. An unfenced loch lies 100 yards away. The area is known for wildlife—red deer, pine marten, otters, golden eagles and sea eagles—and ferries from Port Appin cross regularly to Lismore, an island with two 13th-century castles and prehistoric ruins. Oban and Fort William are both within reach, as is Glencoe. No smoking throughout the property.
