Argyll and Bute

Lurach House opens onto a unified ground floor: a generous living area with a woodburner and a kitchen furnished for full self-catering, divided by a dining space that looks out across the water. Upstairs are two bedrooms—a kingsize with an ensuite bathroom, and a twin room—plus a second shower room. The cottage sleeps four and comes with heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi included; initial fuel for the woodburner is provided too.
Port Appin itself is a fishing village three miles down a single-track road, midway between Oban and Fort William. A community shop and craft outlets sit within the village, while both larger towns offer supermarkets and other services. The immediate area suits walking—around the local headland or across the ferry to the Isle of Lismore for longer rambles—and Glencoe's mountains lie roughly 30 minutes north by car. Oban is known for seafood restaurants; Port Appin has two substantial dining options. The property has private parking for two cars and a front garden; smoking is not permitted.
