Freeland Cottage

Dunoon sits on the west coast of Scotland, a quiet seaside town within reach of the Cowal Peninsula's walking trails, forests and water sports. Freeland Cottage occupies a residential street here, a detached property refurbished in 2021 with everything on the ground floor. It sleeps four across two bedrooms—one double and one twin—plus a bathroom with bath and shower. A wood burner warms the open-plan living and dining space, which has a Smart TV and comfortable seating. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and all the basics you'd need.

Outside, an enclosed garden has furniture for sitting out. There's parking for two cars on site and a bike store. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and the heating are included; logs for the wood burner are supplied to get you started. The cottage does not permit smoking. Dunoon itself is a short drive away, with coffee shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants dotted through the town. Walking routes start just five minutes back. The Argyll Forest Park, Benmore Botanic Gardens and Loch Lomond are all within day-trip range, and Oban is reachable as an easy drive.
