The Route 78 cycle path between Glencoe and Oban runs close by, and a foot ferry 3 miles away connects to Lismore. Oban, roughly equidistant with Fort William, has boat trips to Mull and Iona, while Glencoe itself offers mountain walks and winter skiing. Golf courses are scattered across the area—Oban, Ballachulish and Fort William all have courses. Cycle hire, horse riding and boat trips are available locally.

Glenview is a single-storey cottage sleeping six across three bedrooms: two doubles (4ft 6in) and one with twin singles (3ft). Two bathrooms provide a bath and a shower cubicle. The ground floor has an open-plan living space with Freeview TV and DVDs, a dining area, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and both washing and tumble dryers. A large lawned garden surrounds the property, useful for children and pets (one allowed, at no extra cost). Parking for two cars is on site.

Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included, along with initial fuel for the open fire. No smoking. The nearest shop, pub and restaurant are 3 miles away in Appin.

Staying there this week and it is a lovely house. Three big bedrooms enough room for a family. My wee dog loves the garden, weather has been rubbish but there is plenty to see and do. Oban half an hour and Fort William around an hour. Lots of walks nearby as well as a well stocked local shop and fish van on a Tuesday.

Its spacious and clean and in a great location. It contains everything you need. That takes alot of attention to detail and alot of places dont make the effort. These guys do so well done to them.
