Oban is a working harbour town on Scotland's west coast, where fishing boats and ferries to Mull, Iona and other islands share the water with pleasure craft and sea-safari trips. The town itself has the usual high street shops, a distillery, and enough bars and restaurants to keep visitors occupied after dark. From here, the Highlands and Argyll are within reach for day trips, and the surrounding landscape offers walking, cycling, golf and water sports.
Harbour View is a first-floor flat sleeping six across three bedrooms: one with two single beds, one with a king, one with a double. There are two shower rooms. The living and dining area has a television; the kitchen is equipped for self-catering with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. The flat is reached by 12 steps. Parking is available on road, free overnight but charged during daytime hours; additional spaces are 500 yards away.
Shops are 50 yards from the door, pubs 150 yards, and restaurants 100 yards. The beach is three miles away. Smoking is not permitted inside.
