We had a very nice time at The Scot. The staff were very helpful and the place was very very clean. We stayed one night and were very happy with the sleeping conditions although the walls felt a little thin at times. The fan in the bathroom didnt work (or at least we couldn't figure out how to turn it on) so the bathroom was left abit steamy for a while after using the shower. Overall we were very happy and would return. Thank you for having us.

Thoroughly impressed with this hotel. We booked it as we wanted to visit Oban and went on the great reviews which are thoroughly deserved. Upon checking in we quickly decided to stay another night (it was that or heading back to Stirling). The room had a comfortable super king (international king, 6 feet wide) with a Nespresso machine and kettle adequately supplied with pods and Galaxy hot chocolate. The bathroom had a nice shower that was hot and the room was quiet overnight. It also had a TV with Freeview. The other thing that was apparent while we were there was how happy the staff were to work there. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. We booked the first night through a third party app as the hotel website was significantly more expensive, however, when booking in person at they gave us a far better rate unprompted. The only reason I would not go back is I didn't see a lift anywhere so if I became unable to carry my bags upstairs I would check to see what could be done. Other than that, at the time of booking, the hotel was cheaper than any Travelodge within a 100 mile radius. I was thoroughly impressed and fully intend to return.

Wonderful 2 night stay with a work tour. Excellent hotel, so close to the heart of Oban. My room, food & drink were all beyond expectations! A special shout out to Mia… I have stayed in 100’s of hotels over the years, every once in a while you come across someone who excels in their role … Mia does just that.

We have just stayed for 3 nights in Studio One room of this hotel. The room was smelling really strongly of damp. There had obviously been a leak from the ceiling and they had plastered over it. The shower room was not clean and also had a damp smell. Would definitely not stay here again. Disgusting
