Lagavulin

Lagavulin sits on the ground floor of a spacious house in North Connel, arranged around an open-plan living space where kitchen, dining area and sitting room all face out towards the Falls of Lora. The view across the water is the thing—especially at high tide when the tidal surges create a natural spectacle you can watch from the patio doors. Four bedrooms sleep seven: a super kingsize with ensuite, two further kingsize beds, and a single. Two bathrooms serve the property, both fitted with heated towel rails and cubicle showers.

The kitchen handles full family cooking with an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave and American fridge freezer. Essentials like bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are included. You get private parking for four cars and a front garden with sitting-out space. Note that there are six steps down to the garden. The house does not permit smoking.

North Connel sits on Scotland's west coast where the landscape draws walkers, kayakers and anyone who wants to spend time around tidal waters. The surrounding area has plenty to explore beyond the immediate surroundings.
