Alexandria sits on the edge of Loch Lomond, minutes from the national park's hiking trails and water activities. The Kingfisher Lodge is one of four properties at Loch Lomond Sanctuary Lodges, a small cluster within the Lomond Castle Estate with direct access to the loch shore and nearby restaurants including Duck Bay.
The lodge sleeps six across two bedrooms: a kingsize and a room with two singles. Both have ensuite or private bathroom facilities with heated towel rails. The ground-floor open plan brings together a living area with smart TV and Netflix, dining space, and a full kitchen with electric oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are provided. Outside, you have a private hot tub on the decking and parking for two cars. No smoking throughout.
This suits groups or families wanting to explore water sports, woodland walks and the wider Trossachs from a comfortable base. The lodge is accessible by two steps at the entrance, with everything on one level inside.

The location is flawless. These cabins are right by Loch Lomond. They're spacious, beautiful, and offer stunning views. While not directly overlooking the lake, as trees provide some shade, you can reach the lake in just 3 minutes. The cabins are fully furnished with everything you need, including a washing machine, and the furniture is brand new and modern. Each cabin has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is well worth every penny. The only downsides are a slight street noise, a slightly high price, and the lack of a coffee machine. However, it's definitely worth visiting again and again.

We're just back from a fantastic 4 night stay in lodge No1. The lodge was spacious light and warm on our arrival the lounge diner & kitchen is a fantastic space light and airy with large forward looking double glazed window. One double bedroom with ensuite bathroom one good sized bedroom with 2 single beds and a good sized bathroom with a bath and shower. The lodge was very comfy, clean, warm and well equipped with most things you need to have a trouble free stay. The grounds around the lodges were well kept with grass cutting ongoing whilst we were there. There's also the Cruin restaurant on site which we can highly recommend 👌.

Had a lovely stay in Sanctuary Lodge 2. The lodge was clean and tidy through out and very well equipped and the added bonus of a hot tub. The location is perfect for exploring Loch Lomond and the surrounding area.
