About Queen of the Loch by Marstons Inns

Rooms at Queen of the Loch by Marstons Inns come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and drinks available in room, with family and accessible rooms on offer for those who need them. Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar serving breakfast and a varied menu, including a carvery that proves popular with guests, plus outdoor seating in the garden for warmer days. The restaurant area itself doesn't always get the same care as the rooms, with décor sometimes looking a little tired, but the food and the friendly, helpful staff make up for it, and the overall value for money is a recurring plus point. I really enjoyed my stay. This was my daughter's first getaway in Scotland and we really enjoyed it. The mornings were made extra special by Natasha. Not only was she meticulous but also excellent customer service, my daughter made a new friend. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience❤️❤️.

Great location, clean spacious room. Good secure entrance to the rooms building (separate from the bar/restaraunt). Cracking sleep, so the beds were comfy! We stayed room only, as unsure if we would still be there for breakfast, we were & paid for it in the morning. Very well priced. Good quality on everything. Check in via the bar area had been a breeze, service for breakfast was top notch. Service with a smile!!!!

I only have the Inn 2 stars because the staff was great. But the Inn was pretty low standard almost worse than Motel six. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling, a spoon for the coffee was dirty and nothing to put your luggage on except for the floor. The walls had stains on them and looked as if something had drip down the walls. The pub staff was really nice, but the food was not good and the continental breakfast was really lacking basically toast, orange juice, boxes of cereal and instant oatmeal an instant coffee!! I would pay a little extra and stay somewhere else.

We were staying in Gartocharn recently and so decided to eat here a couple of times. We booked a table online and was shown to it straight away when we arrived. The food was good (I had gammon and chips, hubby had mixed grill) and it wasn't badly priced. The staff were polite and friendly. Would definitely eat there again if we're ever in the area in the future.
