Sithean

Sithean comes fully equipped for self-catering with electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi all included. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and washing machine, so you can cook properly or travel light. Wood for the burner is provided too. A welcome pack, travel cot, highchair and stairgate are on hand for families with small children.

The house itself spreads across two levels on a working hill farm. The main floor contains an open-plan living, kitchen and dining space with vaulted ceilings, a woodburner and views across Loch Etive toward Ben Cruachan. One double bedroom with an en-suite sits here. Downstairs, connected by woodland, are two more bedrooms—a double and a twin—plus a bathroom. The fourth bedroom (twin beds) opens from the main-floor double and has its own galleried balcony. A private sauna, underfloor heating throughout, and parking for three cars complete the setup. One dog is welcome. Non-smokers only.

The eight-person capacity suits families or small groups wanting space to spread out. You're close enough to Oban for supplies and exploring Argyll's coast, but far enough into the hills for genuine quiet. The spring water supply and regenerative farm setting give the place a distinct character if you're drawn to that kind of landscape.
