Taynuilt is a quiet Argyll village with the Firth of Lorn and its islands within reach—Mull, Iona and Staffa are a ferry ride away from nearby Oban. The area draws walkers and cyclists to its forest trails, historic sites like Bonawe Iron Works, and gardens scattered across the region. A shop and tearoom are a short walk away, with pubs and restaurants a couple of miles further out.
Blackmill Cottage is a semi-detached stone house with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping four. The ground floor opens into a living space with woodburner, dining area and kitchen equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher and separate washer-dryer are all here. Upstairs, one bedroom has a king bed and the other has two singles; both have French doors. Initial logs for the woodburner are supplied, along with heating, bed linen, towels and wifi. You have an enclosed garden with seating and a barbecue, a bike store, and private parking for two cars.
The cottage is non-smoking. A travel cot and highchair can be arranged if needed.

Just left here after a two week stay. Cant fault the place. It was so clean and tidy and beautifully equipped. Done to a very high standard and at a very reasonable price. Owner was very flexible and kind to us. Would highly recommend to singles, couples and families. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a nice sized lounge with log burner. The kitchen is lovely and contains and washer dryer and a dishwasher. We really didn’t want for anything.
