The Kyles of Bute lies six miles away, one of Scotland's most celebrated views, while Tighnabruaich's sandy beach and village amenities are similarly close. Colintraive offers a restaurant and pub nine miles off. Within the 150-acre grounds around Stables Cottage, there is free trout and salmon fishing from May to September, woodland to explore, and a fishing hut that doubles as a picnic shelter. A beach can be reached in five miles.
The cottage itself is a ground-floor property with two bedrooms and one bathroom, sleeping three. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed and a pull-out single; the second bedroom has a single bed. The open-plan living space combines a sitting area with a woodburner, dining space, and kitchen equipped for self-catering. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are provided, along with logs for the fire and wifi. One car can park on the property, with space for a second nearby.
The setting is rural and wooded. The property does not permit smoking. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
