The Seaside Suite

Helensburgh sits on the Clyde estuary where the water opens towards the Firth of Clyde, and The Seaside Suite looks directly across Gare Loch from its position in the town centre. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment occupies the first and second floors of a Victorian building, with a living room and kitchen downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs—one with a double bed, one with two singles. An ensuite shower room serves one bedroom; a separate bathroom with bath and shower serves the other.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering: electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washing machine. Electricity, heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are all included. On-road parking is available. The apartment doesn't permit smoking. Couples and family bookings only; it sleeps two people.

From here, the John Muir Way coastal trail begins just 100 yards away, running coast to coast towards Loch Lomond. The Loch Lomond and Cowal Way, and the 3 Lochs Way, offer cycling and walking routes from the doorstep. Twenty-one Munros lie within reach for hill walkers, including Ben Lomond, Ben Lui and Ben Vorlich. The town itself has shops, restaurants, bars and a cinema; further afield, Lomond Shores offers loch cruises and an aquarium, while Glasgow and Edinburgh are accessible by car for city breaks.
