Tigh an Aighear
Argyll and Bute
The entire ground floor of Tigh an Aighear is laid out on one level, with a king-sized bed in one room and a double in the other, plus a bathroom with bath and shower. The open-plan living space has a wood burner (initial logs included), a 32-inch Freeview TV, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, hob, microwave, and all the basics. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all covered. One dog is welcome at no extra cost, and there is parking for two cars on site, along with an enclosed, lawned garden where you can sit on the patio.
Arduaine hamlet sits between Oban, 20 miles north, and Craobh Haven sailing village, which is five minutes by car or half an hour on foot. The National Trust for Scotland's Arduaine Garden is within walking distance, with views towards the Sound of Jura. From Craobh Haven you can take wildlife cruises that pass the Gulf of Corryvreckan whirlpool and reach the Inner and Outer Hebrides. Oban itself is a working harbour town with regular ferry services to the islands, restaurants, and shops, and is known locally for seafood. The cottage sits where you can see across the water to Shuna, Scarba and Jura without leaving the garden.
