This aire sits in a car park at Coire na Ciste, but it's as far removed from your average car park as it gets – the spectacular mountain views and proximity to Loch Morlich will have most people saying 'Take my money now'.
Located about three miles from Glenmore village, the site offers forested mountains as far as the eye can see. Facilities include water feed and disposal points for grey water, chemical waste and refuse, plus secure gated access. However, there are no showers, toilets or hot water, so only vehicles with onboard facilities are allowed. For a daily charge, guests can access amenities at nearby Cairngorm Mountain resort, including a café, guided walks and tubing. Loch Morlich's sandy beach – perfect for canoeing or paddleboarding against snow-capped peaks – is also close by. It's an outstanding base for mountain walks, though advance booking is essential.

WOW Nature at her best. Loads of reindeer came to visit :-) Oh the park up, was okay. No toilets, but grey waste, bins, fresh water all good. Had a horrible woman who was very rude!in the next camper, I called her Mrs Bouquet LOL so I moved my van to another spot and found some nicer people. Think she didn’t like my self build next to her £65k Peugeot. SITE - gate code not obvious on email, please make the gate code clearer on the email. Only negative

Had a fantastic experience visiting the deers! It was a lovely walk, and the deers were so quiet and curious, making it feel really special. We got to go up close, feed them, and enjoy their gentle nature. The weather was perfect—clear and dry—which made the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone who loves wildlife and the outdoors!

We have stayed here a couple of times, this is our first time since the new water and waste facilities were installed. Brilliant having the ability to clean out our onboard toilet and grey waste. Saw a few people not using this properly and still pouring grey waste all over the parking area. The only negative I would say is, is that there is not a separate tap for drinking water and cleaning our toilet, so I saw people shoving the drinking water hose into their dirty toilet 🤢 sufficed to say we never filled up our drinking water here. Aside from that, excellent spot, relatively quiet overnight and we will definitely be back.

Great overnight stop, views of hills are spectacular, and walks in different directions if wanted. Can be a bit windy. Need to be self-contained if camping as no facilities available when we visited. Toilets at ski centre. We liked it
