I CANNOT FAULT THIS SITE.....I have been here for 4 nights Mervyn and Lin are the most welcoming hosts. I have had the best, most peaceful time. I don't understand why people have put bad reviews?? DO NOT BE PUT OFF BY THESE. The slope up to the caravan site is roughly 10 yards long, I am a new campervan driver and I was nowhere near 'burning my clutch out'. I saw a beautiful fox in the field behind me ♥️ and to wake up to the birds singing and tranquility was beautiful. I will be returning very shortly. Thank you for the opportunity to share your amazing site xx

I stayed here for two nights, and the experience was completely unacceptable. From the start, the booking process was unpleasant. The woman I spoke to on the phone was openly disrespectful, laughing and mocking me over a simple date misunderstanding, even after I repeated and corrected myself. She demanded an immediate bank transfer, which I paid within five minutes, yet I never received any confirmation. On arrival, the entrance was extremely steep and narrow. The parking area was tight, crowded, and offered no privacy. A sign instructed vans to check in at the shop, but I had already paid, so I didn’t go up. When leaving, we could not find where to empty the chemical toilet, so we called for assistance. The man on the phone was aggressive and abusive, shouting at us and accusing us of not following his “orders.” He then refused to tell us where the disposal point was. The poor communication and hostile behaviour from the owners made the site extremely unwelcoming. I would not recommend this campsite to anyone.

Nice enough CL but perfect location ! 10 minutes cycle ride from start of 1.5 mile canal walk into the centre of Bath or - turn the opposite direction and - 14 mile ride along disused railway line to Bristol
