Box Valley Cottage

Two pubs within a hundred yards and footpaths leading into countryside make Box Valley Cottage a practical base for exploring rural Suffolk. Stoke church—the subject of Constable paintings—and Polstead village are visible from the bedrooms. The beach lies 21 miles away. A shop serves the village itself.

The cottage is semi-detached with two storeys and space for four. Downstairs, an open-plan kitchen and dining area overlook the enclosed garden; a living room with wood burner sits at the other end. Upstairs, one bedroom has a zip-and-link super king (or two singles), the other a standard king. One bathroom serves both. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included; initial fuel for the wood burner is provided. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. A utility room houses a washer-dryer. Outside, a patio and sitting area adjoin the garden, with a BBQ available.

The property is non-smoking. One pet is welcome. Cots, high chairs and a fireguard are on hand for young children.
