What visitors say
I visited St. Martin's Theatre for the first time recently, despite having been to many theatres across London over the years. We chose to see The Mousetrap, Agatha Christie's famous murder mystery, originally written specifically for the stage, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The performance was excellent. The cast delivered outstanding performances, keeping the audience engaged throughout the evening. The set design was impressive and perfectly suited the atmosphere of the production. The theatre itself made a very positive impression. The seats were comfortable, the venue was well maintained, and the air conditioning worked exceptionally well. Even though it was extremely hot outside, the auditorium remained pleasantly cool and comfortable. A special mention should go to the bar staff, who cheerfully suggested a shandy, which was much appreciated on such a warm evening. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed both the theatre and the production. St. Martin's Theatre is a charming venue, and The Mousetrap remains a timeless classic that is well worth seeing. I would happily return in the future.

It's truly historic and that's what it is. When you have a show that's been running for 74 years, stick to it. The staff were ever so friendly, and the theatre itself is air conditioned. We are here in the 2026 heatwave, and whilst the bar isn't air conditioned, it was out of the heat. Ice creams on sale in interval were truly enjoyed. All of the actors in "mouse trap" were excellent, and it was a show well worth seeing!

We had a wonderful evening at St Martin’s Theatre watching The Mousetrap. It’s such an iconic part of London theatre, and it truly lives up to its reputation. We’ve now seen it 19 times, yet this latest production still feels fresh, engaging, and full of suspense. It’s remarkable how it never loses its charm. The intimate atmosphere of the theatre draws you in from the very beginning. The cast delivered a brilliant performance, perfectly paced with just the right balance of tension and humour. You could really feel the audience enjoying every twist and turn. A true classic and always a pleasure to return to — we’ll certainly be back again.

Fabulous play and fabulous theatre. We scored some cheaper tickets a couple of days before. A very fun watch. Highly recommend for those visiting London or if you live here. This is the view from row H seat 1. Concessions weren’t too overpriced. 4.50 for popcorn and 4 for a little ice cream. The ice team is surprisingly lovely.
