What visitors say
Excellent camp site with a lovely vibe. Perfect for large groups. We were very impressed with how the site went totally silent at the 10.30pm curfew as there was such a party atmosphere before that! The river leading down to Llyn Tegid on the paddleboard was fabulous and our son loved playing there. We will be back

First time staying here and honestly can’t fault this camp site. We booked roughly 2 weeks before our stay, wanted the weekend but was fully booked so we booked a couple of days in the week, so glad we did as it wasn’t too busy. We stayed in a tent without electric. The views around the site are stunning and it’s a perfect location for going out on the lake, the whole site is well maintained, very clean and tidy. The toilets and shower blocks are spotless. Really did have the best 2 nights here could have easily stayed another couple of nights, even our little dog had the best time. He loved running about in the little dog field, we already can’t wait to book to come back with the kids.

We had an amazing stay at Glanllyn Lakeside Caravan & Camping Park. We stayed in our tent with electric hook-up together with our 3 kids and our lovely dog, and we had such a relaxing and enjoyable family getaway. The location is absolutely beautiful with stunning lake and mountain views all around. The campsite was clean, peaceful, and very well maintained, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. One thing we really loved was how dog friendly the site is. Dogs are made to feel very welcome, and there is even a separate secure fenced field where we could let our dog run around safely off the lead. It was perfect, especially as it is located right next to the kids’ playground, making it ideal for families with both children and dogs. The atmosphere around the park was fantastic and it’s a great base for exploring Bala and Snowdonia. Our children loved the playground and all the outdoor space, and we all really enjoyed being surrounded by nature. We stayed for 3 nights and honestly wished we could stay longer. Highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly and dog-friendly getaway in Wales — we will definitely be coming back!

Really surprised what a lovley campsite. Its spacious! Although it was busy there is lots of room between pitches. On the shores of Bala! Also a haven for fishing. Kids can enjoy the freedom of actually playing! Will definitely come back here! Dogs also welcome.
