Shepherds Nook sits in the hills between Derbyshire and West Yorkshire, close to Windle Edge and Dunford Bridge Car Park—territory crossed by countless footpaths and tracks. The surrounding moorland draws walkers and cyclists throughout the year. The cottage itself is a compact, self-contained property with parking for two cars and a garden area where you can unwind after a day outdoors.
Ground floor holds an open-plan living space with a woodburner, smart TV and dining area, plus a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—there's an electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. A separate toilet is also on this level. Upstairs are two bedrooms: a double and a single, served by a walk-in shower room. The cottage sleeps three. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen, towels and unlimited logs for the woodburner are all included. One well-behaved dog is welcome to stay. Note that a fenced reservoir lies about 20 yards from the property, and water comes from a borehole rather than mains supply. No smoking indoors, please.
