An annexe to a centuries-old house, The Colonel is a one-bedroom property arranged across three floors. Ground floor has a conservatory and open-plan living space with kitchen and dining area. Upstairs, a shower room serves the mezzanine bedroom, which has a galleried double bed overlooking the living area below. The whole place is yours alone, with parking for one car on site.
The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric hob, microwave, air fryer, fridge and freezer all included. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi come as standard. A welcome pack awaits on arrival. One small dog can stay free of charge. The building itself blends older character—exposed beams with steel fixings, glass railings—with contemporary finishes throughout.
Behind the property lies a garden with seating areas and furniture, accessed via winding pathways. Batheaston village is nearby with pubs and shops; Bath itself, a World Heritage city with the Roman Baths and Georgian architecture, is a short drive away. The River Avon and local walking trails are accessible for those wanting to explore on foot. No smoking inside the property.
